Lovely location, views - relaxing stay
Beautiful hotel and location. Highly recommend it. Only a short walk from the station. View from the Bar is stunning 🤩 but what I liked most was the private beach and beautiful spa. Friendly staff and had a smooth stay.

Misleading Website, Heartless Service and Dishonesty as a Policy - Beware of this One!
If this is what the hotel considers "premium hospitality," future guests should be very careful before booking. We booked what was advertised as a premium room with a lake view. What we received was something entirely different: a room essentially on a semi-basement level, sitting almost a meter below ground level. Any resemblance between the room we booked and the room we received was purely coincidental. This was not a minor difference in angle, furniture, or decor. The room simply did not match the expectation created by the hotel's own photos and description. A premium lake-view room should not feel like a below-ground room. When I went to reception to raise the issue, the staff were dismissive and unhelpful. The manager's response was even worse. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, he bluntly told us that we could either accept the room as it was or find another hotel, because he "doesn't want unhappy guests in his hotel" and would prefer to refund our reservation. That sentence says everything about the level of customer service we experienced. My wife, our son, and I came to celebrate our anniversary. Instead, we found ourselves being told, at 6:00 p.m., with a toddler and a large amount of luggage, that we could simply go and find somewhere else to stay. Throughout the conversation, I remained calm, polite, and respectful. I did not raise my voice or behave aggressively in any way. Nevertheless, the manager made it clear that our only options were to accept the room as it was or leave. The complete lack of professionalism, empathy, and basic hospitality was shocking. The issue was not only the room itself. It was the hotel's apparent willingness to advertise one thing, deliver something materially different, and then treat a legitimate complaint as an inconvenience rather than a problem to be solved. This experience completely ruined what was supposed to be a special anniversary trip for our family. We left feeling deceived, unwelcome, and deeply disappointed. I would strongly advise future guests to think twice before booking. Based on our experience, the room description and photographs were misleading, and the hotel showed no real willingness to address a legitimate complaint or treat paying guests with the respect they deserve.

Nice location but they need to work to be a four star hotel
No TP on the men's room. This is a four star hotel and they did not check whether there is TP on the men's room. The food was ok. The wine is regional and ok.

    Amazing Hotel and Bartender!
Absolutely wonderful hotel! Our accommodations, 3 rooms were clean, comfortable & beautiful views! We enjoyed the hot tub, saunas -indoor & outside. Restrooms were also incredibly clean! We spent several evenings at the bar and our bartender, Roger was an excellent host. He was extremely polite, helpful in any drink orders we wanted, wonderful conversation and telling us some amazing stories. I might add, he was one of the best bartender’s I’ve encountered in a very long time. 5 star for Roger!! I hope we get the chance to go back to Switzerland & stay at the Belvedere Hotel again.

    Spectacular views and beautiful rooms
We stayed for 2 nights in this beautiful hotel. We loved the spa, the big rooms (which are newly renovated) and big bathrooms. Our balcony gave us a spectacular view of the lake. We had coffee and cake in the afternoon and enjoyed the views from the restaurant. Breakfast was good. Overall it was a lovely experience.

Lovely hotel with lake view- few things missing to give it 5 stars
We had one night, for my birthday at Belvedere. We arrived at 15:30, exactly on check in, to take advantage of the lake view, harbour walk and spa area. Room: was lovely, 107, with a big terrace and lovely lake view. I think the biggest terrace the hotel has. Large room with very comfortable bed- 2 singles put together. Good furnishing and great bathroom with twin sink and rain shower. Problems were that the bedside light did not work and the fan in the bathroom did not work- reported the next morning as we left as we only discovered these late at night. Spa: has a different choice of saunas, one in a barrel shape on the lawn with view of the lake. The main spa area is "naked" but that was OK. Disappointed to see a small child ( probably still in nappies) in the whirlpool, squealing with delight after 5pm. We went to relax and not to hear children. Absolutely no hotel supervision in the spa area. We have been to others and a staff member has explained all the facilities and what order to use them in. This has nobody. Dinner: was lovely- very nouveau cuisine, beautifully presented, but for example, for the scallop dish it was literally "one scallop"!! but with a 4 course meal we didn't need more food. Good choice of open wine as we did not want a whole bottle. It was my birthday so the waitress told me that I had been given the golden cutlery instead of silver...but no candle or cake..I was very surprised. First time ever we have stayed somewhere and nothing extra was done for my special day. Breakfast-rather disappointing. Fruit juices came straight out of the bottles they are bought in- no fresh orange juice, for example. None of the heaters were working, and when we complained we were told they had problems with them... but all of them!! So cold porridge, sausages, rosti and uncooked tomatoes...not what we expected from breakfast. We told reception when we checked out and sha offered us a free cocktail, but no use to us as we were checking out! I would recommend the hotel to others...just not giving 5 stars because of these issues we had. I attach plenty of photos for you to see.

Outstanding hotel with sweeping lake views
We arrived by train and, although less than a 10 miniute walk, were collected free of charge by the hotel shuttle. The hotel impressed from the start combining traditional elegance with modern state of the art services. The views of the lake from our upgraded junior suite were stunning. The spacious room met all our needs with attractive furnishings, bottled water, fridge, comfy king sized bed and powerful shower. Our dinners in the restaurant were exquisite being both very tasty and beautifully presented. The evening dinner service combined genuine friendliness with efficient execution. The buffet breakfast gave plenty of choice with the only missing element being some bacon to accompany the eggs. The Belvedere was our favourite hotel on our recent two week Swiss tour and by far the best value for money.
