Current Operating Conditions on Lake Brienz
Transportation Not Guaranteed:
- Due to low water levels, only a limited number of passengers can be transported. Transportation cannot be guaranteed.
- Currently, only low-water docks are operational at the Ringgenberg, Niederried, and Oberried landing stages. These are accessible only via stairs and are therefore not wheelchair-accessible. At the Iseltwald and Bönigen landing stages, boarding and disembarking are only possible via very steep access paths.

October 14, 2026 - Limited Accessibility Due to Low Water Levels
Currently, only the low-water docks at the Ringgenberg, Niederried, and Oberried landing sites are accessible. These are accessible exclusively via stairs and are therefore not wheelchair-accessible.
At the Iseltwald and Bönigen landing stages, boarding and disembarking are only possible via very steep access paths. It is possible that these landing stages may also have to switch to the low-water piers in the coming days (no longer wheelchair accessible).
