Parkhotel Gunten, Gunten

Reservation system and organisation is terrible. Chief waiter doesn’t speak English, the guy has no manners, speaking without respect with casual attitude. I couldn’t believe that he even put his arm over my shoulders, around my neck while he was speaking to me. Saying he is from Kosovo, he even asked my nationality like there is any relevance to their reservation mistake. Totally unprofessional!

We were given the most glorious table right at the water edge. Service was friendly, professional and attentive. We loved all of our dishes and they were extremely accommodating. The locally sourced dishes were especially tasty! What a memorable night!

The Restaurant was recommended as being very good. The food was adequate, but the service was terrible. We (party of 4) arrived well before a large party and hurried to place our orders. The large party took complete precedence and we were, essentially ignored. Our food arrived, but no one came to check on the temperature, re-fill water, drinks for the entire meal. There was no interest or concern shown, nor an explanation for their poor service.

It must the the perfect place to have dinner on a hot summer evening. Especially as it is not as hot as everywhere else, thanks to the trees and the breeze from the lake. The park is wonderful, an enchanted oasis. The food is fine and staff are nice and attentive. Highly recommended.

You won't regret it, Best gnocchi dish I've ever had (dinner portion). Husband is hard to please, he loved every bite of his meal, too.

We were very pleased with the restaurant food, there is a choice for every taste. Service was also excellent and the atmosphere very nice. We highly recommend this restaurant to everyone that appreciates the above.

We've stayed at this hotel a couple of times in recent years, and the view is absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant, however, could benefit greatly from a new head chef. The food is something you endure for the pleasure of staying at such a beautiful location, but it's rarely enjoyable. We were definitely not the only guests who felt this way.

We had a visit in the restaurant with a beautifull view, sadly to say but the food we had was extremely poor, service low and price high although we know that zwitserland in price is higher than other european countries. Tables and seats were uncomfortable and the atmosphere was verry cold. I would never visit this restaurant again.

Food was very ordinary, but priced high for value received. Service was poor - it was over an hour between ordering and receiving our meal, and only after we asked about it. The waitress only said sorry, the kitchen is slow tonight. The hotel is quite nice, but the restaurant is not at all good.

Menu's options are full with local plates. Food quality was very good and presented in an elegant way. Staff were friendly and professional. and the restaurant's decor was chic.
