Il Buongustaio, Interlaken

Probably the best wood fired pizza in Interlaken. The Bolognese Tagliatelle was also very good. The have about 6 tables behind the restaurant. They are always busy. Had to sut at the counter or wait mote then an hour fir a table. They also do a very good take out business. Good there for the food not the ambience. I would definitely go back, if I come back to Luzern.

I stopped in at 10am to make a 6:30pm reservation for the two of us that evening (don’t take them in advance for small parties). When we arrived, we were promptly seated in the small covered patio in the back. Ordered a beer each, the seafood stuffed pasta and the pizza Italia. The pizza italia was killer - sooo good. Stuffed pasta was good too but the pizza stole the show. One of the top pizzas I have had. Wanted to come back for another night but it didn’t fit our plans. When we left, there were numerous people waiting for a table so best to stop in and make reservation in am.

Great place with wonderful staff and tasty pizza! They were about to close and served us anyway.

Phenomenal pizza and great staff. A must

The pizzas, pasta and lasagne were to just exquisite with a balanced of flavours that melted and merged in your mouth. We visited on two occasions and the service was great. I particularly liked the Jungfrau Wheat beer that is brewed in Brienz and the atmosphere of the small restaurant at the back.

When I tell you this is some of the best pizza and pasta I’ve ever had I mean it. The service was amazing, food came out so fast. If you’re in the area you must try this! You will not regret!!

Il Buongustaio pizza is how I remember pizza in Venice a few years back. It was excellent and much better than pizza in Milano at the Navigli canels just a week prior. Hint: it is a very small place and fills up very fast. Go for an early dinner if you want to be seated immediately.

Had takeaway twice while staying in Interlaken. Both times, the pizza was excellent. Would certainly recommend the food here, and if I'm ever back in Interlaken, will definitely be returning for more!

I stopped in here to get pizza to take away to my hotel room. The place was very busy. The staff were businesslike & efficient, working hard to fill the orders. I placed my order and after an appropriate waiting time, it was ready to go, hot out of the oven. The pizza was well made and tasty, reasonably priced, this is a good place when you are hungry.

Great pizza and fantastic service! We sat outside the back for this visit, which is a courtyard setup for approx 10 tables. We visited on a Saturday night. Be sure to arrive early if you want to get a table, as it got much busier later on, due to a combination of people ordering takeaways and wanting to eat inside. The pizza was delicious, and they had a large selection of options. The staff were rushed off their feet but showed their passion in making sure everyone was well attended to.

This spot is just a short walk from the main shopping street and is well worth a visit! It is very small inside but does have a larger back seating area. The pizza was absolutely excellent! The chili oil was so good when drizzled on the pizza. We also had salads which were very fresh. Service was friendly and attentive. If we'd had another night in Interlaken, we would have gone back for more as the past dishes also looked enticing.

Fast friendly service great pizza Caprese wine. Place was 175 feet from Bellevue Hotel. A perfect dinner during our time in Interlaken. Would highly recommend.
