BumbleBee Hang Gliding

We had an amazing experience with Bumblebee Hang Gliding. Our instructors were Toby and Adam and they were just awesome to hang with. We booked them online and communicated briefly through Whatsapp. The booking process was easy and they have an extensive FAQ on their website that helps you prepare for your flight, The day of our flight, they picked us up in front of our hotel at exactly 9am which was our pre-booked time slot. Look for the grey van that has their bumblebee logo on it. We hoped right in and off we went up the mountain to the launch spot. When we got to the launch spot it was about 10-20 mins of set up where you just get to sit back and enjoy the sweeping views and anticipate your hang. When it was time to get going Adam and Toby explained the flight and how we were supposed to help with the take off (just keep running!). We strapped in and then a few seconds later we were in-flight! The views of Interlaken are breathtaking and the experience of flying in a hang glider is such an unbelievable thrill you should do everything you can to experience it. During the flight Adam explained how he was controlling the glider. How to increase speed, slow down, and how to turn left and right, It was exhilarating when he pulled some G's to show the capability of the aircraft! The flight is over before you want it to be over but you do this for a good time not a long time and bumblebee delivers. If you're considering going hang gliding during your stay in Interlaken and you want a stress free, safe, and easy going team to work with book with them. You will have an amazing time.

The activity was punctual and amazing. My coach was Adam. He was very nice and patient when he practiced skills with me before we took off. The staff was helpful and cheerful. The whole experience was excellent.

This was an absolutely amazing experience! I couldn’t be happier. For my 60th birthday I wanted to go hang gliding. The Bumblebee Hang Gliding in Switzerland was rated number one in for the experience and views. Interlaken, Switzerland was so peaceful and beautiful! When my son, daughter-in-law and I got there, we were welcomed by the team. My tandem instructor was Toby. The instructors were both very safe and comforting for my first flight ever. They explained everything and had you do a practice run. I felt very confident and excited at the same time when we took off. I found it easier than I thought because we had rehearsed beforehand. Gliding through the air and having conversation of the view was amazing. If you’ve never done this before and would like to try it, I highly recommend this hang gliding crew!! Afterwards you can get clear pictures and videos that are totally worth it.

This was an absolutely incredible experience! The guides were so kind and funny and the ride was so safe and exceptionally exhilarating! This is a must on a trip to Switzerland and, in my opinion, definitely beats paragliding!! I had so much fun!
