- W2047VQyvonnewSeptember 2, 2026 at 2:12 PMDon't be fooled by it's location and appearanceLocation and outward appearance are amazing. Sadly the service we received was far from amazing. We were part of a tour , 20+ bedrooms booked. We were never made to feel welcome, more like we were there under sufferance. Our room 24 was tiny, we had to move the stool from the foot of the bed to get round to the other side. The door opened outward as there wasn't enough room for it to go inwards. The bathroom was very small, poorly lit with intermittent hot water. The glass door again opened outwards as it couldn't go inwards and it did at least give a bit of light. Breakfast was plentiful but boring, I like cheese, ham and bread but some fruit would have been nice. We were in an all inclusive package - our packed lunch, ordered in advance was bread and cheese, meat or tuna everyday - stodgy and not appealing. Who gives an orange as a snack on a day out , cut them up for breakfast. Dinner each night was salad, soup, cheese, plus a bland and miniscule main, with sad shop bought desserts. What happened to apple strudel etc, we were in Switzerland after all. The fondue night was strange - meat not cheese, with frozen chips and the ever present salad. Switzerland has cheese - use it for fondue. All inclusive drinks - white/red wine, beer, lemonade and fizzy water. No other soft drinks included. This is a Michelin starred restaurant - we didn't expect that level, but somewhere above Travelodge microwave meals would have been nice. We were told we couldn't use the outside tables on the patio and had to use the tatty outdoor furniture instead. Not enough room for all of us. We even had to walk outside and back into the restaurant so as not to disturb the "posh" diners. The breakfast room is far too small for a party plus other guests. Additional seating on the way to it was available but never set up to use All in all extremely disappointingMore
- FarAway07057032998August 29, 2026 at 6:36 AMAmazing hospitality, made us feel like home.My partner and I stayed at Hotel Alpenblick for two nights at the end of August for our honeymoon, and it was a phenomenal experience. The property is a historic, beautifully constructed Swiss chalet that immediately draws you in. It is authentically decorated with memorabilia from several generations of this family-run business, giving it a warm, genuine charm rather than feeling staged for tourists. The absolute highlight of our stay was the exceptional hospitality. The staff goes out of their way to make you feel at home, starting with a thoughtful welcome gift of Swiss chocolates. They were incredibly accommodating, safely storing our luggage when we arrived ahead of check-in, and were always ready to help us plan our daily itinerary whenever we needed guidance. Dining was another major standout—discovering they have a Michelin-star restaurant on-site was an amazing surprise. While the daily breakfast spread was a bit smaller than we anticipated, absolutely everything served was delicious and high quality. The location is ideal, situated just a highly scenic 10-minute walk from Wilderswil station. They also provide the Interlaken guest card at check-in (a standard but highly useful perk for the region) which makes getting around a breeze. Overall, Hotel Alpenblick offers incredible value for money. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay for our honeymoon and I highly recommend it!More
- foreveronwardJuly 31, 2026 at 6:28 AMWonderful Swiss meal at their Terrace restaurant! We ate at their Terrace Restaurant. We were a party of 10 with 4 children ages 8 to 3. They asked us to submit our entree choices ahead of time in order to help the kitchen. Our waiter, Thorin, was fantastic. He created a truly Swiss experience. We had the traditional dishes - and the cheese fondue - one with Champagne and the other with Kirsch were amazing. He recommended the perfect white wine to go with the fondue. It was our best meal of our family trip!More
- D6061AEsharoncJune 25, 2026 at 7:06 PMHomely character chalet hotel serving good food and friendly staff a short train ride from Interlaken. We spent a wonderful week staying here and loved the charming wooden chalet hotel filled with character. Family owned and atmosphere with excellent continental breakfast buffet (delicious breads fresh breads) and very good 5 course set dinners. Staff were great and great shower/bed. And the views of the mountains are stunning!!More
- Roam603868June 24, 2026 at 6:34 PMBrilliant hotelHotel Alpenblick is just lovely. In a beautiful setting. The staff are kind and welcoming. Sandra, Angelina, Francesco, and the girl with the dark hair, who said "no stress" 😁 in the dining room and Ursula on reception. All 1st class staff, and the lovely girl who cleaned our rooms and did a stellar job. The food was fabulous. We had a fantastic stay. We will never forget it.More
- W7137EWangelasJune 23, 2026 at 7:55 AMA beautiful ancient HotelThe Hotel has a superb location, and a welcoming atmosphere from the staff at reception, the cleaning care people, and the meal service waiters who were always so gracious and helpful throughout. It was lovely to pass through the different areas and see artifacts from previous times. The old wooden stairway is beautiful too. I think we were spoiled. Our room 08 must be the best in the hotel! We came with GRJ. A big crowd in which we must have been some of the oldest. I was embarrassed that the younger members made so much noise in the garden after dinner each night and must be disturbing other hotel guests.More
- Q9132NTalanbJune 18, 2026 at 2:11 PMWonderful WinterswilThe location of the hotel is perfect for touring, exploring the interlaken area. The staff were professional in their work and this added to the great atmosphere within the hotel which was enjoyed with the group and hotel staff. The meals were really good apart from the fondue night which did not suit our palate. The room we were allocated the first night also did not suit us due to it not being a walk in shower but after speaking to the owner we were moved to room 38 which was an excellent comfortable room with a balcony. The hotel was very clean and tidy and had a traditional vibe. The area the hotel was situated in was very quiet and picturesque. This hotel is good value for money.More
- Culture54312142929June 12, 2026 at 1:38 PMA very enjoyable holiday with a charming, welcoming hotel to return to each day after exploring.A lovely hotel, full of character. Relaxing and quiet. Friendly attentive and helpful staff. Our room was very comfortable and it was a pleasure each day to come back to. Everywhere in the hotel was spotlessly clean, with a spacious conservatory and outside sitting area. We enjoyed the packed lunches which were provided each day.More

- 634victorpJune 7, 2026 at 12:13 PMGreat Chalet StyleThe Hotel has the feel of a Ski Chalet, all the staff were particularly kind and helpful. They provided a free transport pass for the lenght of our stay. Restaurant was very good we went for the Cheese fondue. Do bear in mind that the hotel is not in central Interlaken it’s a 5min walk to a bus stop then 10minutes to Interlaken. Train station is also a 10min walk. The landscape around the hotel is quite impressive. We enjoyed being secluded yet close to Interlaken. Room was spacious and quiet.More

- michelle_houghtonMay 27, 2026 at 5:43 AMSolo trip to the mountains on a group holidayI stayed in this hotel for 6 nights on my own - on a group holiday. The location of the hotel is good for the train station and the bus goes from just round the corner. The hotel itself is very old (400 years i believe) so no lift. The room I had was a single one with my own bathroom. The room was nicely appointed with a balcony to the front of the hotel, room was small but clean. All staff were friendly. Breakfast was continental good choice of meat, cheese, bread and fruit. Meals in the evening were really good - starting with salad bowl, then starters, mains and then deserts and of course not forgetting the wine! There were 2 waiters in particular that looked after us Francisco and Javier. My only complaints would be having no kettle in the room for having a cup of tea on demand although there was a kettle in a shared kitchen area that the hotel allowed us to use. The hotel also did us packed lunches every day which was lovely.More
- joanwG7775VKMay 24, 2026 at 12:10 PMGRJ -Jungfrau Express hotel excellent.GRI All Inclusive Jungfrau Express Location: Hotel Alpenblick very good with great food and exquisite interior. Atmosphere of hotel very good. Rooms good. Value for money good. Excellent tour advisor in Deborah. One important point to make - please delete the 6 picnic lunches and replace with say sausage rolls or a quiche with a salad in a tub. Thank you.More
- X2775IAjeanettetMay 24, 2026 at 11:32 AMGRJ All Inclusive Jungfrau Express Excellent TourThe hotel Alpenblick in Wilderswil, Switzerland is in a very good location. The staff were polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The evening meal, different choices every night was very good with free wine. The hotel supplied a packed lunch - choice of sandwiches, a piece of cake, fruit and fizzy/still water bottles. This was the only downside, as the sandwiches weren't very appetising. Our bedroom was light and airy, very clean and the bathroom/shower facilities good. Our welcoming tour guide, Deborah Foreman, was outstanding - she answered any questions we had, and handed out plenty of information on the hotel and the places we were going to visit. Couldn't fault her.More

The rooms were very clean, spacious and well equipped. The food was excellent, freshly prepared and plentiful with lots of choice. We would not hesitate in staying here again.More
- kenjmcintosh10May 19, 2026 at 10:04 AMStunning views, amazing food, friendly staff.A lovely hotel just 10 minutes walk from Wilderswil railway station which connects to all the main attractions in the Jungfrau region. Rooms are comfortable, staff are very friendly and helpful, especially in the group dining room and reception. What I found outstanding was the quality of the food, the Michelin Star obviously evident in the flavours and presentation. Breakfasts were Continental style with choice of coffees, home made breads, cold meats, cheeses, and cereals. Evening meals were largely exceptional, with amazing selection of salad starters, home made soups, and delicious meat dishes and sauces. Vegetarian options also available. The house wine served with dinner was plentiful and good quality. Little extra touches such as birthday cakes, a fondue night in the main restaurant and an aperitif in garden were all lovely surprises. The owner, Yvonne, goes the extra mile to ensure a trouble free and enjoyable stay for all guests, thank you.More

The owners and staff could not do enough for us. Room regularly cleaned to a high standard. Breakfast and dinner meals were truly excellent. Placed in a lovely area we could not wish for more. I would highly recommend this hotel. Well done.More
