- Jones201999February 12, 2026 at 4:00 AMSwiss style chalet hotel in pretty wilderswill. Peaceful, well connected by train or bus. Free travel pass to InterlakenJust on our way home from from 5 night stay at this hotel. Loved the simple rustic charm. Comfortable beds all very clean. Food and service excellent. The wine flowed at meal times..2 hours of limitless wine..or beer and soft drinks.. We had a packed lunch daily and probably the only recommendation would be to alternate perhaps from sandwiches daily to a small salad and or quiche for a change.More

- martingH4594TQJanuary 17, 2026 at 1:03 PMChaming hotel and locationRoom were very good. Hotel staff very friendly and efficient. Dining room very hot. Food was adequate but same every day apart from main course. Chef lacking imagination After five nights tends to get boring. Same old same oldMore
- JennyNIrelandJanuary 17, 2026 at 12:58 PM5 day January 2026 StayUpdated room was clean and pleasant. Lunches were the same every day: cheese and/ or ham sandwiches. Egg sandwiches arrived a day later than requested. Same cake every day. Dining room was uncomfortable and too hot at dinner. Dinners were ok but lacked choice: it was similar every day. Meat fondue for dinner raised queries/concerns. Diners had to cook their own strips of pork/turkey/ beef. Diners mixed raw meat with cooked meat in the fondue pot. Dining staff were extremely helpful and pleasant.More

- 96bryancOctober 11, 2025 at 7:01 AMA peaceful escape in a quiet Swiss village. We were on a train holiday and the hotel was a 10 minute walk from the station. The hotel was a classic large Swiss chalet on varying levels, all of wood with an annexe across a single track cul-de-sac quiet road on the edge of the village, making for a very peaceful atmosphere. Our room was a reasonable size, ensuite with wood floors. As with everything in Switzerland, everything was spotless. We were on a group holiday with 37 of us and the value, when taking in all the amazing places we visited, made it good value. There are two restaurants, one of which is on the first floor, which was quite cramped, possibly because of the size of our group. The main restaurant, on the ground floor was much larger. The service was quite disorganised, not that it spoilt it for us.More

- andy_wilkinson100September 21, 2025 at 8:35 AMAmazing September holiday in stunning SwitzerlandThis beautiful hotel is full of character and history. It’s just a short, flat walk from Wilderswil station, ideally located for all the main day excursions. The Schynige Platte railway departs from Wilderswil station, which is especially convenient. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The meals were outstanding – breakfast offered an excellent variety of fresh, tasty options, and the evening meals were top quality. We were even provided with picnic lunches featuring healthy food, such as fresh apples and pears from the September harvest. Our room was clean and well equipped, with a powerful shower and a very comfortable bed. I enjoyed sleeping with the window open and hearing the gentle sound of the fountains as I drifted off. All in all, it was an amazing week organised by Great Rail Journeys, and I would thoroughly recommend the Hotel Alpenblick.More

The rooms were well equipped, spotlessly clean and we enjoyed a balcony and lovely views of the mountains. The menu was varied and of a very high standard. the hotel had a lovely atmosphere and we would recommend it as the perfect hotel to spend time in Switzerland.More
- anthonymM8116CXSeptember 14, 2025 at 3:39 PMA wonderful holidayVery atmospheric location and convenient base for exploring the Jungfrau region. Great food and friendly service - also a Michelin starred restaurant on the ground floor if you fancy a special meal. Authentic decor and comfortable beds, very clean room, and we were impressed with the range of British TV channels. Generally very quiet and relaxing ambience. Rooms a little tight on space, and tea making facilities would have been welcome. Would love to stay again.More
