- christiani727November 17, 2024 at 9:59 AMGreat Location/Low QualitySeepark location is very good and having breakfast in the room with view to the lake of Thun is great. The quality and offering of the breakfast for 42 CHF / Person however is much below expectation. Low cost Hotels such as IBIS or Novotel are better and therefore we will visit in the future Deltapark or other restaurants in the region.More
- U4242October 16, 2024 at 11:48 AMAn Amazing ExperienceI stayed at the hotel recently for three nights and I thoroughly loved it. The fine dining at the main restaurant was spectacular - worthy of five stars. The presentation was lovely, the food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. I did have lunch earlier in the day on the first day and that menu is very limited and it seems to be serviced by a different chef. I would not recommend lunch, but three dinners later I was very impressed!More
- lph2007May 19, 2018 at 5:10 PMVery good surprise, highly recommended for a gourmet dinnerWe had dinner for 2 on a Saturday evening A truly exquisite cuisine in a place where you dont expect it (see comment on the Seepark hotel). There is no menu, you can only chose the number of courses you want. We took the 5 courses option (no cheese plate). The plus: Very creative cuisine, mix of Asian and European flavors All courses were prepared to play on the visual and gustative sensations (see picture of the desert). You felt just by looking at the plate all the attention to the details. Fishes and meat were perfectly cooked and the courses were never too big or too small. Impeccable service. The (only) minus: the wines proposed to come with each course were disappointing. We felt the wines were only selected to accompany/support the course but not to add anything else or more. A good wine can be as good as a good dish. It would have been paradise to have both: excellent course and excellent wine. In conclusion, a close to perfect place for a fine dinner. We will definitely come back.More
- WalkingInLAJuly 17, 2017 at 4:10 PMMost fantastic salad, al fresco! We loved the salads here. We had the side salads, and the Caesar, with chicken. Bread basket was included. Divine!More
- nauta53June 27, 2017 at 1:21 AMMost beautiful outdoor dining imaginableWe ate luncheon here in July 2015. It was a bright sunny breezy day. The food was cooked to perfection, but almost an afterthought, as we sipped wine and enjoyed the spectacular view of the Thunersee and the Alps. Quiet, peaceful, absolute refinement.More
- utahsfMarch 19, 2017 at 7:02 PMSuper dining experienceThe food was creative and delicious. Presentation was beautiful. The goose liver pate was too strong for several at my table, but everything else was terrific. I ordered the vegetarian menu, and each dish was unique.More
- Roberto_1067February 25, 2017 at 3:12 AMGood butI had dinner in this hotel's restaurant the evening before a seminar hold in the structure; cooking was good ( I ordered fried prawns as a starter and a main dish of black bass ) but prices were simply too high and the waitress very standoffish. In a luxury environment I can justify high prices but not for sure lacking courtesy of the staffMore
- BerenjenAzulJune 4, 2016 at 6:01 PMBusiness, romantic, casual ideal for all occasions. How to describe the food except to say, superb? One of the few places where I have gone for business and stayed for holidays, just so that I could enjoy the food. YummY. Great Swiss wine (because at that prince range, you will get good wine), fine service, friendly staff. A++More
