Easy hike on the Axalp, which is also suitable for children. With the post bus from Brienz we reach the final stop of the Axalp, where the Schnitzlerweg begins. The path runs with slight ups and downs through sparse high forest and then down a steep path to the idyllic Hinterburgseeli. Here you can comfortably barbecue or swim. The path then leads over lush alpine meadows up to the Chruttmettli. From there it goes down into the forest and back onto the Schnitzlerweg, which takes you back to the Axalp.

Einfache Wanderung auf der Axalp, die auch für Kinder geeignet ist. Mit dem Postauto ab Brienz erreichen wir die Endstation der Axalp, wo der Schnitzlerweg beginnt. Der Weg verläuft in einem leichten Auf und Ab durch lichten Hochwald und anschliessend in einem steilen Pfad hinunter zum idyllischen Hinterburgseeli. Hier kann gemütlich gebrätelt oder gebadet werden. Anschliessend führt der Weg über saftige Alpwiesen hinauf zum Chruttmettli. Von dort aus geht es hinunter in den Wald und wieder zurück auf den Schnitzlerweg, über welchen man zurück auf die Axalp gelangt.

Wichtiger Hinweis: See und Umgebung sind Eigentum der Alpgenossenschaft Hinterburg und für das Naturschutzgebiet gelten die offiziellen Regeln. Es sind ausschliesslich die speziell markierten Grillplätze zu benützen! Besten Dank fürs Respektieren.
