A treat in ThunIf you’re looking for a cosy spot for coffee or a bite to eat in Thun, Rösterei Heer is a great find. From the moment we walked in it felt welcoming. The waitress and waiter were both wonderful — polite, friendly, and happy to speak with us in English, always with a smile. For drinks we ordered a mocha with oat milk, which was perfectly balanced and not too sweet, and a homemade mango lemonade that was incredibly refreshing. To eat we shared two paninis: the tomate, pesto & mozzarella, and the tomme cheese with honey mustard spread and dried figs. The pesto panini was delicious, but the dried fig panini was truly to die for! Such a unique and delicious combination. Before we left, the male waiter (we wish we had caught his name!) had a small chat with us which made the whole experience feel even more welcoming.
