Workshop oboe reeds

This year, the oboe is the focus of the Bachwochen Thun. On a Saturday morning at Bellerive Castle, the main location of the Thun Region Music School, oboist Bridget Greason-Sharp will give an insight into the world of oboe reeds: what makes a good reed and how do you make one? The 1.5-hour workshop is aimed at children and adults who are already familiar with the oboe and would like to find out more about how oboe reeds are made. Participants will also be able to practise making reeds themselves - a musical crafting experience for young and old!
