Traditional Swiss wrestling has become a new favourite sport for the Swiss. At Ballenberg, in a lovely setting, this down-to-earth sport can be watched close-up. The Ballenberg-Schwinget is the first "Schwingfest" of the season and therefore especially popular with the major players of traditional Swiss wrestling. The strong sportsmen fight it out on the meadow in front of the Farmhouse from Madiswil BE (321) following all the "Hosenlupf" rules.
Guests with a special concession, an online ticket or a gift voucher for one entry may redeem them, however they are not entitled to a refund of the price difference. The tickets for the wrestling festival can only be bought on the actual day of the "Ballenberg Swiss Wrestling" at the Ballenberg entrance desk.
