Family Treasure Trail on the Wiriehorn
Family Treasure Trail on the Wiriehorn
The Diemtigtal valley offers a day out that will take your whole family on a shared journey of discovery. The Wirie-Spatz, the mountain’s mascot, guides adventurers of all ages through the mountains on the Wiriehorn Family Treasure Trail. From puzzles to observational tasks and joint problem-solving, the result is a day out that combines exercise and learning through play.
Starting at the Marmeli playground at the Wiriehorn mountain station, the treasure trail of almost four kilometers takes you through the landscape of the Diemtigtal valley in around two hours. Tricky riddles await at eight varied stations: Look closely, interpret the clues correctly, and find a solution together as a family. The flyer with the treasure map can be found in the plexiglass box at the start; you can take it with you from station to station. Along the way, the view of the mountains around the Wiriehorn opens up again and again. A treasure chest of small surprises awaits you at the end.
