    Room design flaw
Pricey hotel but in line with the area. Comfortable room, luggage storage, nice breakfast, a/c, close to train, shopping etc…. But one big design flaw. We stayed in a family room with 2 teens. The bathroom door is glass with the toilet just on the other side. Without constructing a barricade you could watch the whole family use the bathroom from the bed.

    Great Service
We had a great experience watching the World Cup championship at Husi Bierhaus. The hostess did an incredible job rearranging furniture and joining parties to get as many people in to view the game as possible. And even with a packed house, the service was impeccable.

Nice walk/hike through the woods to a viewpoint.
We hiked in from the Bir Müli bus stop trail head. It was a nice gravel trail for the most part then some interesting metal bridges and root covered paths. The trails are clearly signed and include parts of their fitness trails. We saw moles in the leaves and made it to the ruins. While there isn’t anything left of the ruins, there are some good information displays describing what it had been like before. There was some impressive ivy growing up the face of the overhanging cliff face. We turned around and left with a better understanding that people had been living in that region for quite some time. It was also interesting to learn about family infighting and how that lead to regional changes.

    Ok but not great.
Second stay (first was in May, 2024). Charming 320 year-old hotel, but no a/c (was very warm in July), no elevator so take that into consideration. Rooms are small and ours was on the back of the hotel over the parking lot so noisy even after 11 PM at times- we had to leave the windows open since it has no a/c. Probably wouldn't stay here again unless in shoulder season.

One of the most popular spots in Interlaken
We came here first for dinner and the queue was so long we booked for another day and came back. It is incredibly popular because of its good atmosphere and great selection of beers on offer. We had the burgers, the veggie burger was a bean style one that wasn't to my liking and there weren't many other vegetarian friendly options. The meat eaters enjoyed theirs.

    Delicious authentic Swiss food
We came for dinner here, seeking out authentic Swiss food. We were not disappointed! Half the group had fondue and the other half has the rosti. Both were delicious. The setting of sitting in the beautiful garden made it even better. Catered well for vegetarians too. Would recommend!

    Tasty dinner
We enjoyed a delicious meal here and were very pleased with the variety of the menu especially for vegetarians. Unfortunately we timed it badly with the world cup and I was sat under a massive TV showing the game, which was very loud! Otherwise really enjoyable.

    Lovely campsite with amazing views
This was a nice eurocamp to stay at. There were sports equipment you could borrow, a huge lake to swim in and a well stocked wee shop for those last minute munchies. Parking is tight but we have a Volvo v70 estate and parked no bother. There is also a good tv room and washing machine facilities. Would definitely go back.
