After a short warm-up section slightly downhill, the route continuously ascends. A total of over 600 meters of elevation gain and more than 11 kilometers are covered.

Directions & Parking facilities

**Getting there**From the A8 highway exit Interlaken West, follow the signs towards Beatenberg. At the entrance to Beatenberg, the road to Hohwald / Amisbühl branches off to the right. Follow the Hohwald signs; the parking lot is 1 kilometer further.

Bus connection from Interlaken West train station towards Beatenberg to the Beatenberg, Waldegg stop.

From the Waldegg stop, walk 1 kilometer uphill towards the Hohwald parking lot (follow signs), where the trail starts.
