The descent to Därligen is also not easy; it goes over roots and stones on a hiking trail with difficult obstacles. After Unterseen, a short climb leads to the St. Beatus Caves, then on to Merligen and back to Sigriswil. The route mostly follows little-trafficked roads and natural paths, except between Sundlauenen (St. Beatus Caves) and Merligen. You’re guaranteed a beautiful view of the mountains and the lake. Along the way, you will encounter two highlights: crossing the 340-meter-long and 180-meter-high panoramic suspension bridge in Sigriswil and the 142-meter-long suspension bridge in Leissigen."
