**The hike from Thun via Jakobshübeli runs along the lower forest edge above Hünibach, Hilterfingen and Oberhofen. After passing through the Riderbach Gorge, the ascent follows to the panoramic height about 200 meters above Lake Thun. Between Aeschlen and Sigriswil, the suspension bridge is toll-based (detour possible). After Endorf, the gentle descent to Merligen follows.**
